Sunrise 6:15: In the pink


The female Dawn Jogger's mother's brothers and sisters lived in the Bay Area when she was growing up, and there were annual rituals - and regular outings like going to see the Giants play. One annual ritual that the female DJ recalls as very boring was viewing the bougainvilleas at their peak of bloom in Golden Gate Park. But she's become more appreciative of them as an adult and has enjoyed jogging by a particular bright display in her neighborhood. The reunion dust is finally starting to settle...
