Sunrise 6:20: Bench that's meant to be

The female Dawn Jogger can't remember when this picnic style bench appeared on the driving range end of Lake Lagunita. (Most types of outdoor furniture show up near the Lagunita dorms.) Nor does she have any idea how many people took advantage of it as a resting or contemplative place. But when it broke some months back, a log quickly got placed under it to prop it back up. With the sun up well before she reaches the lake these mornings, it beckons a stopping place for the dawn community. Some mornings, like today, are lonely at the lake...
