Sunrise 6:48: Birds fly over the rainbow


Rainbows are cheery. The female Dawn Jogger thinks that's partially because they're appear somewhat unexpectedly. She was treated to a nicely arcing rainbow these morning near the senior housing complex adjacent to San Francisquito Creek (which continues to roar). With the birds overhead, too, she could hear Judy Garland singing: "Birds fly over the rainbow, why oh why can't I." The rain continues off and on...
