Sunrise 6:57: Autumn arrives

The autumnal equinox, one of two days of the year when the sun rises directly in the east and sets directly in the west, arrives this morning precisely at 8:44 am PDT. To the female Dawn Jogger, it's less about where the sun sets and all about the amount of daylight hours, which diminish daily.
