Sunrise 5:47: Return of the robin

The female Dawn Jogger has company again when she's putting on and taking off her running shoes at the patio table. Ms. Robin has returned and is working on brood number two. The DJs had returned from France in time to see the last of the first fledglings leaving the nest. And they'd each remarked about how frequently they see a pair of robins on the side yard under the olive years. The male DJ researched robins and found out that a pair mates for a season and can produce up to three broods. While the nest under the [brand new] umbrella looks safe and protected, it also can get very warm, and on more than one occasion, Ms. Robin was see fanning the eggs (or very young birds) to keep them cool. She does seem to be getting use to the DJs, so maybe they can share the table with her this time around...
