Sunrise 5:51: Racoon parade



The female Dawn Jogger set off about 30 minutes earlier than usual this morning. As is often the case, that meant less human activity on the Stanford campus and more animal activity. She came upon a family of racoons eating grub in the ornamental grass. Each took a different approach to seeing a human, one wandered slowly in front of her to feast on something on the other side of the path, another held its ground and the third ran for shelter in a storm drain. There's growing consternation about the Dish closure...
