Sunrise 6:37: The protests of spring


There was lots going on at White Plaza on the Stanford campus this morning, although still too early for human activity except for the female Dawn Jogger and two other early AM runners. There were a variety of tents - big ones set up for this weekend's art festival and sleeping tents occupied by the campus Living Wage Project. The exact nature of the specific protest seemed a bit sketchy, although a fast appeared to be in progress. Messaging and good signage is important even for pup tent protests...
