Sunrise 6:42: Good light

It was warm this morning and the scattered clouds were well positioned to show off the sun's first light. The female Dawn Jogger thought about the coming weeks and the band of healers - both medical and spiritual - who will use their tools to restore the male DJ "to usefulness in your world with thankful heart" (BCP).

Beautifully expressed, Hubbard. You're so strong, and your faith will pull you through.

Hey, Linda --

My name is Greg Bird. I met Chris at Oxy and visited with him in LA and Ohio on a few occasions.

A couple of years ago, as I was casting around to make connections for a computer design I have, I came across gulker.com and re-established a friendship with Chris through his site which has meant a great deal to me. My son, Alex, visited Chris at Adobe when he attended the Technology Leadership Forum as a high schooler.

I know quite a bit about you through Chris's many affectionate blog comments and photos. And I see also, thanks to Chris's brave sharings, some hints of the trials ahead for you, and, of course, for Chris.

I just want you to know I think about you two every day and wish for you both every success in the times to come. Although I live far away in Milwaukee, please don't hesitate to communicate with me should you feel I could be of any help.

The very best --

Greg Bird, gfbird@wi.rr.com
