Sunrise 7:28: It's dark

The last 10 days or so of October and December to mid-January are the darkest days for the Dawn Joggers. Today was the first day the male DJ decided to try to get back to slow jogging (ok, they've never been 'fast'). Even going their 'winter lake route' which takes them across the campus past the student union instead of all around the lake, meant it was still quite dark when the hit the lake. The lights are helpful, making it easier to navigate the uneven surface. The end of Daylight Savings Time on Saturday means they can look forward to brighter mornings ahead.
