Sunrise 7:20: Return to dawn patrol

The Dawn Joggers, continuing at the moment as the Dawn Walkers (much to Cassie's delight as she can accompany them every time), returned to their early morning schedule today. And both remembered why their daybreak excursions are so soul satisfying. The photos capture two moments they liked best, although both agree that the camera can't quite capture what the eye sees. (No offense Silvio.) There was the first hint of light and a bright crescent moon as they crossed Sand Hill. By the time they were on the far side of Lake Lagunita near where the boathouse once stood, the colors of the lake bed and sky appeared painterly.
