Sunrise 7:22: Pretty after the rain but darker


The female Dawn Jogger heard more people talking about the "longest night of the year" than usual. But if those who are fretting about the lack of daylight think they are over the hump, they're actually in for "more of the same" and potentially the feeling that it's even darker today. That's because the sun rose a minute later this morning (before many are up) and will set a minute later. But with the latest rain storm having blown through, it was a pretty and clear dawn, featuring a crescent moon. White Plaza on the Stanford campus glimmered in the predawn light...
