Sunrise 6:18: Mystery topiary

The female Dawn Jogger set our around her neighborhood this morning on the look out for signs of 8/8/8 and all its supposed luck. Instead she came upon a very large topiary in a front yard. As she approached she thought it was a horse. Then on further inspection a dog. But the Mohawk like hair cut stopped her. What is this mystery creature?...
