Sunrise 6:58: Banner year for poppies

The female Dawn Jogger headed back out to Arastradero Open Space today to take of the green hillsides and somewhat early wild flower. No critter sightings today, except for a black cat who took one look at the DJ and headed back into the brush. But depending on the hillsides, there were vast swaths of purple and yellow and a particular rich display of poppies, none of which had opened to greet the day.
