Sunrise 6:06: Santa Cruz Avenue mainstay

The female Dawn Jogger dropped a car off for servicing this morning down on El Camino and jogged home through downtown Menlo Park. Two establishments have been on Santa Cruz Avenue (the main drag) since she was a child, Ann's Coffee Shop and Hoot'n Toot cleaners. Like all good old-fashioned coffee shops, Ann's is known for its pies - a sign in the window this morning let passersby know that rhubarb pie was available today. Ann's first opened in 1946 and has been serving "breakfast all day" every since.
Herb teas are the concession to modern times...
