Sunrise 7:07: Santa Fe glow


The Dawn Joggers and John and Julie were treated to a good sunset on their drive from Albuquerque to Santa Fe last night. Both areas had gotten hit by the storm that had pounded Denver a few days ago; the foot of snow in Santa Fe is unusual for the area but makes for a very Christmasy scene. Being at a more southernly latitude the sun rises about 15 minutes earlier than in the Bay Area. They plan a leisurely day of walking around the Plaza and an evening taking in the farolitas on Canyon Road with much good food interspersed.The chile sauces were fiery last night at Tomasitas, even for Californians used to spicey food...
