Sunrise 6:14: High steppers

The high steppers were out on the Stanford campus this morning and the groups of exercisers reminded the female Dawn Jogger of the DJs' early morning runs in Shanghai last fall. They'd see multiple groups (all who went unrecorded as it predated the trusty services of Silvio, the pocket size Lumix digital) doing tai chi, both along the Bund and the main pedestrian mall, Nanjing Donglu. The first group today, spotted on the main quad, may have been Revenue Generators; they were being supervised by two women and there was a spirit of competition in how high they were raising their knees. The second group, using a circular flower bed to step up and down, looked more like participants in one of the boot camps held in the early morning hours on campus.
