Sunrise 6:13: Last lake loop


The female Dawn Jogger figures this will be the last dawn Lake Lagunita loop for a while. The DJs are soon heading to the French countryside for different sunrise moments. Water is still being pumped into the lake, so it should stay full in their absence. No new ducklings found, nor did she see any of the previously spotted broods. She did scare herself into thinking she was morphing into another old batty birder at being a little bit thrilled to see what she thinks is some kind of heron (Black-crowned Night Heron?) perched on some debris. Hadn't seen one before around the lake...
