Sunrise 6:30: Llama patrol



Hoping to spot some wildlife (deer, coyote, wild turkey), the female Dawn Jogger got an early (for Saturday) start and headed out to the Arastradero Preserve in Palo Alto. She figured, correctly, that it would be in its full glorious green. Signs of spring were around each trail curve - and she took almost 10 photos, far more than a usual morning outing. The big payoff was seeing and petting the pair of llamas (mother and daughter, being fed) that get walked on Saturday mornings in the Preserve. Just the usual scene in metropolitan area of millions of people...
