Sunrise 7:08: No signs of victory

The female Dawn Jogger almost put on a reflective vest this morning, it was that dark when she set out. But she planned to stay on the lighted pathways of the Stanford campus - and presumed she'd see lots of signs of victory celebrations along the way, especially as she near the stadium. But it was all gone, cleaned up, as if it never happened. Silvio would have stayed in her pocket, but the dawn ray's were striking an oak and turning it golden. Good things are worth waiting for...
