Sunrise 6:03: Sign of the past


The roses are so pretty this year that the female Dawn Jogger decided to do a neighborhood run this morning rather than going across the Stanford campus. And she did see, as expected, lots and lots of great roses, many of them covering fences and arbors. What she didn't expect to see was a remnant from her childhood, a Fox and Carskadon sign, vintage late 50s/early 60s. This company held a prominent place in mid-Peninsula real estate while she was growing up - and still does in its new incarnation run by the founder's son. She just saw daughter - and Hillview School classmate - Bonnie when the old gang was in town two weeks ago...
