Sunrise 7:05: Looking for a carrot


The rain was coming down fairly hard early this morning, so instead of getting up and doing the usual Saturday Big Dish run, the Dawn Joggers and Cassie decided to take a rainy day walk out in Portola Valley. That let the male DJ try out his latest digital camera, a Leica M8, and also to pick up some supplies for his planned vegetable garden. It's easy to encounter horses along the Alpine trail, either in backyards or at commercial stables. The male DJ spotted a picturesque grazing scene highlighted by a grey anchored between two bays. But as he set to shoot, the grey ambled over to the fence, undoutedly in the hope of a carrot. The aspirations of humans and animals aren't always in sync...
