Sunrise 7:10: Moonlight dawn

The moon has been pretty and bright the past few mornings, lighting the way in the predawn darkness. It's just hard to get a good photo of it without more elaborate equipment (no knock to trusty Silvio, who remains just the right size for the female DJ to jog with). What she was really looking to shoot was some elaborate Christmas lighting display left on all night. But Menlo Park residents are just too good stewards of the environment. And while a squawking Jay accompanied her along the creek, he just would cooperate for a portrait.
